This is how it all started…

Not coming from an agricultural background allowed me to realise there was a gap to bridge between the knowledge of people and farmers across the country. I have been on the Berkshire Farm Girl Journey for 7 years now, presenting me with many great opportunities to share my journey with the general public. Having written articles in Newbury’s Out n About Magazine, featuring on the Farmers weekly, and recently starting up my own YouTube channel has helped me reach a wider audience. I am very fortunate that my efforts have been recognised having been named the young countryside champion at the BBC Food and Farming Awards 2022. I look forward to continuing to share what agriculture has to offer and taking people on my journey with me, showing people where their food comes from and encouraging more young people into the farming community.
