About Me
Join me on my Agricultural Journey
Hello! My name is Eleanor, and I’m 23 years old. Although I didn’t grow up in a farming background, I was fortunate enough to get involved in my stepfather’s arable farm at the age of 16. This farm, run by Dan Willis and his mother Hazel, has been thriving for over 130 years.
Coming from a non-agricultural background made me realize the gap in knowledge between the general public and farmers across the country. For the past seven years, I’ve been on the Berkshire Farm Girl journey, which has given me numerous opportunities to share my experiences with a wider audience. I’ve written articles for Newbury’s Out n About Magazine, featured in Farmers Weekly, and recently launched my own YouTube channel.
I’m incredibly grateful that my efforts have been recognized, including being named the Young Countryside Champion at the BBC Food and Farming Awards in 2022. Through my blog and social media channels, I share the experiences, challenges, and triumphs of life on the farm. Being honored as the BBC Countryfile Young Countryside Champion in 2022 has further fueled my commitment to promoting the farming lifestyle. I hope my stories and insights resonate with you.

Fundraising
Ellies Welly
Through Ellie’s Welly, I have raised over £6,000 for TVAA (Thames Valley Air Ambulance) and Newbury Cancer Care. This initiative allows businesses to advertise and individuals to receive special mentions, whether it’s for a birthday, university shout-out, or other occasions, on my YouTube channel.
Thames Valley Air Ambulance
Everyone may potentially benefit from this service and they are self funded, we never know when we might need them.
Newbury Cancer Care
A charity close to us; when my mum was poorly this charity really helped my sister and I.

Testimonials
“Thankyou for having us. What a lovely place. You are doing such as great job (well done for choosing one of the hardest industries). Kids loved the Maize Maze and mud the most. Freshly picked corn was very loved on the dinner table. Horses with their witchy hats were the favourites. All staff very friendly with plenty of smiles to share. Definitely out favourite place to visit for pumpkin picking”

” Amazing lost for words really ! I support one of my young ladies that I look after yesterday, and Eleanor could have not been anymore accommodating ! Nothing was ever too much trouble ! We had great fun throughout the maize and picked our pumpkins. Absolutely incredible place to go and for all types of people. She really has done a great job with this”
Emma Dupas
” Took the kids to Berkshire Farm Girls Pumpkin Patch and Maize Maze. The pumpkins are a range of different colours and sizes and reasonably prices too! The maze was great and really big and loved seeing all the things they had hidden in the maze. it was the little touches that made me smile and showed the whole thing had really been thought about, such as the little toy dinosaurs amongst the pumpkins and the toy hippos placed in the muddy puddles for the kids to play with”
